SimCorp is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver complex software solutions for our financial clients in Toronto. Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with C#, .NET, Angular, TypeScript.
• Experience building enterprise web applications and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns and design principles.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Shape architecture, design, and development of scalable software solutions.
• Own major features and technical initiatives from concept to production.
• Mentor and guide teammates, sharing experience across the team.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA Engineers, and stakeholders.
• Drive best practices: code quality, testing, docs, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in architecture discussions and long-term technical strategy.
• Conduct code reviews and establish coding standards.
• Diagnose and fix complex issues in distributed environments.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and engineering practices.
• Contribute to platform health and second-line on-call support.
