Job summary

Canadian Natural Resources Limited invites applications for an Engineering Student - Technology and Innovation in Calgary, AB. The 12-month term starts in May or September 2027, offering hands-on experience across production, optimization, and environments.

As a Technology and Innovation Engineering student, you will work with technical experts, stakeholders, and external partners on new technologies, AI initiatives, and data-driven projects, gaining exposure to digital transformation and IP

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in abachelor’s degree program in Chemical or Mechanical engineering, all other engineering disciplines will be considered.
• Familiarity with Microsoft suite of products is considered an asset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Spotfire, SQL, or Python is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support of data analysis for the preparation of various applications.
• Create reports regarding new technologies in various disciplines.
• Conduct preliminary technology assessments to determine potential value and business impact.
• Execute small projects related to Technology and Innovation.
• Support collaboration with external organizations and AI initiatives through data wrangling and coding.
