We are excited to announce the opening of a new, state-of-the-art campus of care in Brantford, featuring 160 long-term care beds and 147 retirement suites. This innovative home aims to set a new standard in senior living by blending exceptional care, enriching culinary experiences, and a vibrant community atmosphere.

As a key team member, the Team Member Experience Coordinator, Campus plays a vital role in supporting both Retirement and Long-Term Care operations. This position provides hands-on Human Resources support throughout the employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, engagement, and offboarding. The TMEC ensures smooth HR service delivery and fosters a culture aligned with our organizational values: Act Positively, Be Accountable, Create Community, and Demonstrate Caring.

Reporting directly to the Senior Executive Director and collaborating with the HR Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted resource for frontline teams and leadership, ensuring HR excellence at every step.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead orientation for new team members and coordinate the Orientation Program
  • Complete new hire paperwork and assign training to ensure compliance
  • Create and maintain accurate team member records
  • Track and facilitate performance review processes
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and investigations
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
  • Support employee relations initiatives, including investigations and conflict resolution
  • Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement activities, town halls, and HR programs
  • Manage WSIB claims, Early & Safe Return to Work programs, and non-occupational leave of absences
  • Ensure adherence to Collective Agreements, track grievances, and support grievance resolution
  • Conduct exit surveys for frontline team members

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of HR experience
  • Post-secondary education in HR or equivalent
  • CHRP designation is an asset
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
