As a key member of the team, the Team Member Experience Coordinator, Campus plays a vital role in supporting both Retirement and Long-Term Care operations. This position delivers hands-on Human Resources support through the entire employee lifecycle — from recruitment / onboarding to performance management, engagement, and offboarding. The TMEC ensures smooth HR service delivery and helps foster a culture aligned with our organization’s values of Act Positively, Be Accountable, Create Community, and Demonstrate Caring.

Reporting directly to the Senior Executive Director , and in collaboration with the HR Business Partner , you’ll serve as a trusted resource for frontline teams and leadership, ensuring HR excellence every step of the way.

What you will be doing :

  • Act as orientation lead for the community & coordinate the Orientation Program
  • Complete the new hire paperwork and assign training to ensure compliance
  • Create and maintain up-to-date team member records
  • Track performance review processes
  • Provide guidance and assistance with employee relations – performance management and investigations
  • Be the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
  • Support in resolving employee relations / investigations
  • Support in the creation and execution of employee engagement plans, townhalls meetings, and deployment of additional HR programs
  • WSIB Claims management, and Early & Safe Return to Work Programs and non-occupational leave of absences
  • Ensure Collective Agreements are followed, track, manage, and assist grievances
  • Conduct exist survey for front line team members

Who you are :

  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years of HR experience
  • You have completed post-secondary education in HR or equivalent
  • If you have your CHRP designation that would be an asset
  • It would be great if you had some experience working in a Health Care setting
  • You thrive managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
