Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. (PCLI), an HF Sinclair company, is seeking a full-time Team Leader for our Warehouse and Packaging Operations. Reporting to the Director of GSC Manufacturing Operations, the Team Leader, Packaging & Warehouse Operations, is a key member of the Manufacturing Leadership Team. The role requires expertise in Packaging and Warehousing operations to support the Global Supply Chain’s performance objectives in safety, quality, service, and cost. Responsibilities include developing the Manufacturing Business Plan, Capital Budget, and Key Performance Measures. The position oversees direct supervision of Packaging and Warehouse Operations in Mississauga.
Job Duties
- Ensure all Packaging and Warehouse operations are conducted safely.
- Promote a safety culture emphasizing hazard identification and behavior-based safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with government Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Company Safety procedures, within the Collective Agreement.
- Provide leadership, strategic direction, and set priorities for packaging and warehouse operations, managing both full-time salaried staff and hourly employees in Edmonton & Mississauga.
- Manage proprietary warehouse operations in Mississauga (National Warehouse).
- Demonstrate strong Non-Authoritative Leadership (NAL) skills, fostering teamwork and empowerment for growth.
- Align team efforts with HFC’s Core Values.
- Monitor expenses and develop continuous improvement initiatives for equipment and processes.
- Manage relationships, costs, dispatching, and operational performance of third-party carriers and rail companies servicing Western Canada.
- Oversee dispatching and operational performance of third-party package carriers servicing customers out of Mississauga.
- Optimize and improve the cost-effectiveness of PCLI’s packaging and warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with PCLI’s management systems, including ISO 9001, 14001, and IATF 16949.
- Participate as a member of the Joint Health and Safety team.
Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisors as needed.
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (preferably in a unionized environment).
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution is required.
- Proven leadership in operational team management.
- Post-secondary education in a Technical, Business, or Logistics field preferred; however, a combination of education and experience will be considered.

Work Conditions
- Mainly office-based work with regular exposure to packaging, blending, and warehouse facilities.
- Periods of increased pressure during operational challenges or incidents.
