Croesus, Laval-based wealth management software company, seeks a Team Leader to guide a skilled engineering team. You will steer design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements of our platform while mentoring engineers and driving high-quality delivery.

The role blends technical contribution with leadership in a hybrid setup, requiring strong French/English skills and a proven record building financial software.

Qualifications

• French fluency (oral & written) is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in the financial sector is a major asset.

Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you will play an essential role in the success of our software engineering projects. You will provide leadership and development for a talented team while actively participating in their technical deliverables.Main Responsibilities

Leadership and Supervision

• Coach, motivate, and support team members to achieve a high level of performance.
• Manage schedules, evaluate performance, and identify training and development needs.
• Actively participate in the recruitment and integration of new talent.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, and promote transparent communication.
• Set individual and collective goals aligned with the company's vision.
  
  

Technical Contribution

• Contribute your expertise by participating in the design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of our platform.
• Ensure that peer reviews are executed according to company standards.
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies, best practices, and market trends.
• Propose innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and quality of the team's work.
  
  

Project Management

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the team's objectives and priorities.
• Estimate workloads and plan activities in collaboration with the Product Manager.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and ensure delivery on time and within budget, in compliance with established standards and processes.
  
  

Requirements

• The working language is French. A perfect command of French (oral and written) is mandatory.
  
  

Education And Experience

• BAC/AEC in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, including 5 years in a leadership role (direct or indirect).
• Experience in the financial sector (a major asset).
  
  

Technical Skills

• Bilingualism (French and English) (essential).
• Proficiency with IT tools (Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite).
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases.
• Knowledge of .Net platforms.
• Experience with agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and knowledge of good development practices (unit testing, continuous integration).
• Understanding of software architecture principles.
