Job summary

Croesus Finansoft Inc. is seeking a Team Leader to guide a skilled software engineering group. You will lead development, design, and delivery of our wealth management platform, driving performance and collaboration.

The role blends technical contribution with people leadership in a hybrid environment, reporting to the software leadership team in a dynamic workplace.

Qualifications

Perfect command of French (oral and written) mandatory.
BAC/AEC in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Experience in the financial sector is a major asset.
Bilingual in French and English is essential.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Atlassian Suite.
Solid knowledge of SQL databases.
Experience with .NET platforms.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and CI practices.
Understanding of software architecture principles.

Your Role as Team Leader

As a Team Leader, you will play an essential role in the success of our software engineering projects. You will provide leadership and development for a talented team while actively participating in their technical deliverables.

Main Responsibilities

Coach, motivate, and support team members to achieve a high level of performance.
Manage schedules, evaluate performance, and identify training and development needs.
Actively participate in the recruitment and integration of new talent.
Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, and promote transparent communication.
Set individual and collective goals aligned with the company's vision.

Technical Contribution

Contribute your expertise by participating in the design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of our platform.
Ensure that peer reviews are executed according to company standards.
Stay up-to-date on new technologies, best practices, and market trends.
Propose innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and quality of the team's work.

Project Management

Collaborate with stakeholders to define the team's objectives and priorities.
Estimate workloads and plan activities in collaboration with the Product Manager.
Track project progress, identify risks, and ensure delivery on time and within budget, in compliance with established standards and processes.

Requirements

The working language is French. A perfect command of French (oral and written) is mandatory.
Education and Experience: BAC/AEC in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, including 5 years in a leadership role (direct or indirect).
Experience in the financial sector (a major asset).
Technical Skills: Bilingualism (French and English) (essential).
Proficiency with IT tools (Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite).
Solid knowledge of SQL databases.
Knowledge of .Net platforms.
Experience with agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and knowledge of good development practices (unit testing, continuous integration).
Understanding of software architecture principles.
