Stantec in Montréal, QC is seeking a Team Lead – Mechanical Engineering to mentor a dynamic team of industrial mechanical, process, and piping engineers and technicians on large-scale projects.
You will drive design quality, manage resources and schedules, advise clients, and collaborate with other team leads to advance the service line in partnership with the Regional Senior Director.

Reporting to the Director, Heavy Industries, the Team Lead – Mechanical Engineering will oversee a dynamic and motivated team of industrial mechanical, process, and piping engineers and technicians. The successful candidate will also contribute to the design and delivery of large-scale, challenging industrial projects. As a recognized and inspiring leader, you will be responsible for the effective management of the team, the development of employee competencies, and the achievement of the department’s performance objectives. You will motivate and empower team members in the delivery of innovative technical solutions and project management excellence.
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
