We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join the Geotechnical Practice as Team Lead. The role involves providing technical and operational leadership, maintaining superior client relations, and delivering major projects. Our current projects span sectors such as highway and rail infrastructure, Energy, Water & Environment, and Urban Development. The successful candidate will help drive growth, manage daily operations, and have expertise in rock mechanics, shafts, and tunnels.

This position is based in Ottawa, ON.

Your Role Within The Team

1. Provide leadership to identify and realize strategic growth opportunities.
2. Manage team performance, oversee career development, and ensure excellence.
3. Coordinate with market/client teams to allocate resources based on project pipeline.
4. Ensure productivity targets are met and overheads are controlled.
5. Work with the Practice Director on staffing and capacity planning.
6. Act as Project Director/Manager and oversee technical delivery.

8. Stay updated on advancements in rock mechanics and tunnel engineering, incorporating best practices.
