Clinical Supervisor, Registered Psychotherapist

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical supervision to a cohort of intern psychotherapists, including individual, dyadic, and group sessions.
• Assess, monitor, and assist practicum therapists in developing and refining their clinical skills.
• Offer personalized guidance to help supervisees grow in their practice, including support in treatment planning and therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure integrated, holistic care for clients.
• Create and develop educational materials to help train and support future therapists.
• Actively contribute to the Alli team and community.
• Support other supervisors.

Flexible Work Hours with Structured Commitments:

Our position offers flexibility to balance personal needs with professional responsibilities, with some scheduling commitments:

• Office hours: Available for “office hours” 1-2 times per week from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm EST.
• Weekend availability: Every 5th or 6th weekend, during the day (with time off in lieu).

What You Need to Succeed:

• Must live in Canada.
• Master’s degree in psychotherapy or counselling and at least 5+ years of clinical experience as a registered psychotherapist with CRPO (no exceptions).
• Experience in clinical supervision and completion of a supervision course.
• Active CRPO licensure for 5+ years, with a commitment to high professional and ethical standards (bonus if licensed with other Canadian colleges).
• Comfort with a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire others in demanding situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and adaptability.
• Ability to think critically and make informed decisions in complex situations.
• Resilient and able to manage stress effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Self-motivated and committed to continuous learning and growth.
