Your Contribution

As a Team Lead, Electrical you will work in collaboration with the Electrical Team

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership, direction and support for members of the team
• Enhance, develop and mobilize the team of Engineers and Technologists
• Senior Electrical Designer responsible for preparing, reviewing and overseeing electrical designs
• Project management of design projects
• Preparation of proposals
• Determine areas of potential improvement and direct the implementation of change to address these areas
• Work with discipline leads and project managers to ensure projects are set up and executed in full compliance with quality standards and regulations
• Lead team recruitment with HR representatives; resume review, interviews and offers
• Help manage the training plans and career development of employees
• Execute the Englobe performance management program and oversee any required disciplinary review
• Build and/or support client relationships at the appropriate level
• Chair regular communication and meetings for the team
• Participate in regional strategic planning meetings including preparing operating budgets for your group.
• Implement up-to-date business processes.
• Work with the Director of Operations to implement and execute strategies for the business unit.

Your Profile

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the consulting industry
• A minimum of 10 years of experience designing electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, communications, etc.)
• Experience preparing drawings, NMS specifications and cost estimates
• Experience using AutoCAD, REVIT, AGI32, SKM and other design tools.
• Experience in managing projects and/or teams;
• Experience and personal skills to mentor junior staff;
• University Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or College Diploma in a relevant field
• Superior communication skills, written and verbal
• Possession of or eligibility to obtain security clearance required
• Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
