Your Contribution

As a Team Lead, Electrical you will work in collaboration with the Electrical Team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership, direction and support for members of the team.
  • Enhance, develop and mobilize the team of Engineers and Technologists.
  • Senior Electrical Designer responsible for preparing, reviewing and overseeing electrical designs.
  • Project management of design projects.
  • Preparation of proposals.
  • Determine areas of potential improvement and direct the implementation of change to address these areas.
  • Work with discipline leads and project managers to ensure projects are set up and executed in full compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Lead team recruitment with HR representatives; resume review, interviews and offers.
  • Help manage the training plans and career development of employees.
  • Execute the Englobe performance management program and oversee any required disciplinary review.
  • Build and/or support client relationships at the appropriate level.
  • Chair regular communication and meetings for the team.
  • Participate in regional strategic planning meetings including preparing operating budgets for your group.
  • Implement up-to-date business processes.
  • Work with the Director of Operations to implement and execute strategies for the business unit.

Your Profile

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the consulting industry.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience designing electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, communications, etc.).
  • Experience preparing drawings, NMS specifications and cost estimates.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, REVIT, AGI32, SKM and other design tools.
  • Experience in managing projects and/or teams.
  • Experience and personal skills to mentor junior staff.
  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or College Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Superior communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Possession of or eligibility to obtain security clearance required.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
