Team Lead - Business Development

Job Description

The “Integrated-Inbound” revenue channel is currently seeking an experienced Global Payments team member to apply their skills and knowledge into an expansionary sales management role. This individual will:

  • Lead a specialized sales team that acquires new customers through the offering of POS Software & Integrated Payment Card Processing Services

  • Grow integrated payments market share in core verticals: Restaurant & Retail

  • Penetrate new vertical markets through development of strategic partnerships with VAR and ISV providers.

  • Provide team members with regular sales training and coaching

  • Establish KPI’s and productivity metrics that establish desired sales activities and outcomes

  • Seek to implement new strategies and or techniques learned through experience and interaction with peers

Main Responsibilities:

Meeting Monthly /Annual Revenue and Expense targets

  • Deliver monthly revenue targets for the team

  • Deliver personal revenue targets

  • Create sales campaigns and incentives that drive desired sales behaviours and results

  • Recruiting

Sales Training/Coaching

  • Value proposition & objection handling

  • Product and operations knowledge

  • Side by Side training

  • Attend sales meetings and pitches

  • Performance management and reviews

  • Assist team members in GTM strategies and implementation

Measurements

  • Individual and Team Targets

  • Weekly Appointments and Converted Opportunities

  • Monthly Cadence Reviews

  • Salesforce Pipeline Reporting

  • Execution of Business Development Plan & GTM strategy

  • Administrative tasks completed on time

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years B2B Sales experience with 2+ years experience in the Payment Card Industry

  • Proven success record to overachieve assigned sales metric’s

  • Routinely makes a cultural impact on the organization by positively influencing team members around them

  • Strong relationship and partnership development skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Must be a highly organized, focused individual that excels at problem solving and conflict resolution

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently

  • Goal-oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence and determination
