The Division of Teaching Labs (DTL) supports the delivery of laboratory courses and practicals by providing laboratory infrastructure, experimental needs, and technical expertise to departments within the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. DTL focuses on providing sustainable, effective, and responsive service to the departments, and ensuring a positive, productive, and safe learning and work environment. We advance youth STEM initiatives through collaborative and in-house outreach and educational programming.
As Teaching Labs Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting teaching activities by coordinating laboratory operations, program administration, and health and safety compliance. You will assist with preparing and maintaining lab environments, supporting experimental work, and providing hands‑on guidance to students and staff. You’ll also bring strong organizational skills and attention to detail to administrative tasks, process improvements, and communications, including supporting the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and safety documentation, helping to ensure the labs operate safely, efficiently, and effectively.
