The Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support Pharmacy Practice Skills & Simulation and other clinical courses. This term position lasts six months, with responsibilities including scheduling, setting up labs, and assisting instructors and students.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least two years in a teaching lab, LMS experience (Quercus) and familiarity with pharmacy software (Kroll).

Reporting to the Assistant Director – Academic Program Administration, the Laboratory Technician provides support to Pharmacy Practice Skills & Simulation and other clinical courses and initiatives by responding to faculty, staff and students in a customer service focused manner and redirecting as required for items that need to be escalated. The Laboratory Technician is responsible for providing laboratory support/services by scheduling the use of lab equipment and resources and responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate. The ideal candidate will also provide general lab maintenance, program support and contribute to teaching lab operations.

Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:
USW Pay Band 09 -- $67,916. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $86,855. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
