First Nation School Board - Yukon is seeking an on‑call teacher for Ghùch Tlâ Community School in Carcross. The role supports classroom activities, substitutes when needed, and helps maintain strong relationships with students, families and the local Yukon First Nation community.
Candidates should have a high school diploma and a willingness to live and work closely with the community, elders and administration to foster inclusive, culturally respectful education.

Home to the Carcross/Tagish First Nation people, Ghùch Tlâ Community school is one of 11 Yukon schools that have joined the newly established First Nation School Board (FNSB) in the Yukon. Tagish and Tlingit are the traditional language of the Carcross/Tagish First Nation and Southern Lakes people.
Ghùch Tlâ Community School is a K-12 school with approximately 60 students. We are actively seeking committed and qualified educators who are dedicated to living in and being an active member of the community and who can adapt well to a remote lifestyle. Our educational professionals value authentic relationships and are committed to working with students, community, administration and the FNSB to make positive, progressive changes to education outcomes for learners of Ghùch Tlâ Community.
