H&R Block Elliot Lake is seeking tax professionals and a receptionist for the 2027 tax season. The roles are seasonal, paying from the outset with on-the-job training online starting September 2026. In-person work at 52 Ontario Avenue, Elliot Lake, on Tuesdays or Thursdays, 9am–4pm, with no prior experience required and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

The office has served Elliot Lake for over 20 years and offers a learning-friendly environment during January–May 2027.

Qualifications

• Training provided online beginning Sep 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax preparation during the season.
• Provide receptionist support at the Elliott Lake office.
• Help manage client scheduling and inquiries.

Posting Title: Tax Professionals & Receptionist

Job Posting Details:

We are a medium sized year round tax preparation office looking for new tax preparers for our 2027 tax season. We have been serving Elliot Lake for over 20 years.

This is a paid seasonal position beginning January 2027 through mid-May 2027.
No experience necessary, but must be open to learning and be a positive team player.
H&R Block Tax Academy Training is provided on-line beginning September 2026.

Pay rate minimum will be $18.50 (more with previous tax knowledge).

In person at our office at 52 Ontario Avenue, Elliot Lake on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9-4.
