Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience (preferably in accounting/finance/business).
  • Previous experience in tax-related roles.
  • CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program completion would be an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills and a demonstrated ability to learn new programs.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with a Partner or other senior tax staff in preparing elections, objections, and representations.
  • Liaising with tax authorities during audits and responding to requests for information.
  • Assisting partners and senior staff in compiling client information for special tax projects.
  • Providing tax enquiry support to clients and internal staff.
  • Preparing corporate and personal tax returns.

Responsibilities

  • Excellent computer skills and a demonstrated ability to learn and utilize new computer programs.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

Job type: Permanent Full-Time

Your schedule: Monday to Friday (work Saturdays in April); Monday to Thursdays (Fridays off in July and August)

Salary range: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
