Talent Pool – Program Manager

Terms: Various future full-time, part-time or temporary opportunities
Starting Salary: Commensurate with experience
Location: Ottawa, Canada; Montreal, Canada; Toronto, Canada

Health Standards Organization (HSO) is searching for exceptional Program Managers who share our passion for achieving quality health services for all. In Canada and around the world, we are building a bold and bright future for our enterprise and our clients. If you are looking for a challenge and seeking to be part of something larger than yourself, our Program Managers roles could be for you.

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and who is motivated by the challenge of doing things differently. Having a full plate doesn’t intimidate, but rather motivates you. You have a knack for prioritizing and juggling multiple projects. You are flexible and can adjust your course as needed. You have a winning attitude and love to learn from and collaborate with others. You thrive on beating deadlines and surpassing expectations.
Your responsibilities include:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment that requires agile, clear thinking for quick turnaround of accurate, high-quality deliverables.
  • Exceptional communication skills – your clients are both internal and external stakeholders. You thrive in reaching new audiences and in helping your clients meet their business goals.
  • Critical examination of processes and technology and proposing innovative solutions to create efficiencies.
  • Building authentic and enduring relationships with staff, leading practice owners and reviewers.
  • Collaborating for results; you won’t be in this alone. The HSO team is our – and your – greatest asset. Our team has rich talent and deep expertise in a variety of domains to strengthen you in your role.
  • Responding to ad hoc requests, projects, and other activities as required to support the company.
  • Staying on top of emerging trends.

You have a unique history. Does it include the education and experience listed below?

  • University degree in a specialized field (such as Nursing, Health Education, Health Administration).
  • Three to five years of progressive and varied experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with delivering projects within budgets, scope and timelines.
  • Tried and tested assessment, analytical and critical-thinking skills.

You’ll stand out if you...

  • Are bilingual – to be able to communicate in English and French is a strong asset (or any other languages for that matter).
  • Are familiar with the healthcare industry.
  • Have experience working in Program Management.
  • Are PMP Certified.
  • Are enthusiastic and passionate! We have an ambitious mission and it will be our collective energy that will get us there.
