Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy-duty cleaning equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience performing janitorial duties in high-traffic public spaces.
• Eligibility to obtain required security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial cleaning machines such as auto scrubbers and sweepers.
• Lift and transport heavy items up to 50 lbs.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch, high-traffic areas to maintain safety.
• Perform comprehensive floor care: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and spot cleaning.
• Maintain building common areas: hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, elevators.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from waste bins regularly.
• Spot clean interior surfaces: walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, windowsills.
• Complete cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing of all facilities, including washrooms and client spaces.
• Maintain client-specific spaces and assist with other duties.
• Snow removal and salting of public walkways.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ability to operate industrial and or heavy-duty cleaning machines and equipment; including but not limited to auto scrubbers and sweeping machines, leaf blowers, pressure washers, etc.
• Lifting and transporting heavy items or objects
• Clean, disinfect, and sanitize high-touch and high-traffic areas to maintain a safe environment
• Perform comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and spot cleaning
• Clean and maintain all building common areas, including hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, elevators
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from waste bins on a regular basis.
• Spot clean interior surfaces such as walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, and windowsills
• Complete cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing of all facilities, with a focus on washrooms and designated client spaces
• Maintain and service client-specific spaces and complete other duties as directed
• Snow removal and salting the public walkways

What You Will Bring

• Experience operating heavy-duty cleaning equipment such as auto scrubbers, sweepers, or pressure washers is required
• Ability to lift and transport heavy items or objects up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Experience performing professional janitorial duties in high-traffic public spaces is required
• The eligibility and ability to obtain all applicable security clearance(s)
• Knowledge of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) is not required but considered an asset
