  • Experience working with an ATS; Workday experience is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and equitable hiring practices.

Summary

Reporting into the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the full-cycle recruitment process by partnering with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire top talent aligned with business needs.

Primary Scope of Role
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles, from intake to offer acceptance
  • Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, internal talent pools, referrals, and other channels
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring priorities
  • Provide guidance on recruitment best practices, market insights, and candidate selection
  • Ensure a positive and consistent candidate and hiring manager experience
Recruitment Operations & Compliance
  • Utilize Workday to manage requisitions, candidate workflows, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment legislation, and diversity and inclusion practices
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and programs
Position Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, supporting full‑cycle hiring.
  • Previous experience supporting recruitment in construction, manufacturing, or a similar project‑based industry is an asset.
  • Proven experience partnering with hiring managers across multiple functions and role types.
  • Strong sourcing capabilities using LinkedIn, referrals, and other talent channels.
  • Experience working with an ATS; Workday experience is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and equitable hiring practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
What We Offer
  • Expected Base Salary: $30 - $38 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity and work location.
