Job summary

Spectrum Health Care in Toronto is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to elevate our candidate experience from first contact through onboarding. You will screen, interview and select top talent, partnering with internal teams to understand workforce needs.

As a new grad in HR or an experienced recruiter, you will help build Spectrum Health Care's employer brand and manage high-volume recruitment in a collaborative, in-office setting at our Toronto (Bloor/Yonge) location.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in high volume talent acquisition role.
• Bilingual English/French is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• In-office role in Toronto (Bloor/Yonge).

• Manage active candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide best in class candidate experience from the first contact to onboarding
• Review resumes, phone screen and interview candidates, conduct reference checks, collect documentation, and schedule for orientation
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships internally to understand current and future workforce needs
• Be an ambassador of our brand to improve our employer brand strategy around hiring and retention
• Manage active candidates throughout the recruitment process through effective communication to ensure a positive candidate experience
• Source both active and passive candidates with the intent on identifying, connecting, and recruiting the best talent

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and eagerness to learn
• In office role in Toronto (Bloor/Yonge) office
