Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition and based out of one of Carecor's branch offices, with remote work options, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will primarily hire nursing, personal support workers, and other healthcare positions. Our healthcare providers work in client hospitals across Ontario, Nova Scotia, and beyond. Assignments are typically temporary or casual.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle : sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding for roles including Registered Nurses, Practical Nurses, Personal Support Workers, and Patient Observers.
  • Network with academic institutions and healthcare associations to build candidate pools.
  • Utilize social media and targeted campaigns for effective sourcing.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates.
  • Manage recruitment requisitions in Carecor’s ATS and job postings.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of high-volume recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare or staffing agencies.
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and professional networking tools like LinkedIn.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
