Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment across our Ontario dealership network and corporate functions. This full-time onsite role partners with management to deliver end-to-end recruitment, build strong talent pipelines, and ensure timely hiring aligned with workforce needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple vacancies through full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred; multi-location recruiting is a plus.
  • Strong sourcing and screening with direct candidate outreach.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with hiring managers and handle competing priorities.
  • Clear, professional communication and strong organizational skills.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information; sound judgment.
  • Experience with ATS, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office.
  • Post-secondary education in HR or related field is an asset.
  • Ontario driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Legal entitlement to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process for dealership and regional office roles from posting to offers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and keep recruitment moving.
  • Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, schools, and community connections.
  • Review applications, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the process and provide timely updates.
  • Build candidate pipelines for recurring hiring needs and maintain ATS records.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and support onboarding steps.
  • Support recruitment events, career fairs, and student recruitment initiatives.
  • Track recruitment activity and suggest improvements to hiring processes.

The Talent Acquisition Specialistsupports recruitment efforts across our Ontario dealership network and corporate functions. The successful candidate will partner closely with management to deliver end-to-end recruitment solutions, ensuring timely hiring while building strong talent pipelines to support both current and future workforce needs.

At a strategic level, the Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in driving organizational performance by attracting top talent, strengthening employer branding, improving candidate experience, and supporting workforce planning initiatives. This team contributes directly to business growth by aligning recruitment strategies with operational objectives, enhancing hiring processes, and supporting leadership with data-driven staffing insights.

The expected pay for this position is $50,000 - $60,000

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the recruitment process for dealership and regional office roles, from job posting and sourcing through screening, interviews, and offers.

Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and keep recruitment moving.

Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, school and community connections, and other channels.

Review applications, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews.

Communicate with candidates throughout the process and provide timely updates.

Build candidate pipelines for roles with recurring hiring needs.

Prepare job postings and maintain accurate candidate records in our applicant tracking system.

Conduct new employee orientation sessions and help new hires complete required onboarding steps.

Support recruitment events, career fairs, and student recruitment initiatives.

Track recruitment activity and suggest practical improvements to the hiring process and candidate experience.

What you Bring

Experience managing multiple vacancies through the full recruitment process.

Automotive dealership experience is strongly preferred. Experience recruiting for another fast-paced, multi-location business will also be considered.

Strong sourcing and screening skills, with the confidence to approach candidates directly.

The ability to build productive relationships with hiring managers and follow up on competing priorities.

Clear, professional communication and strong organizational skills.

Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.

Experience with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office.

Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is an asset.

A valid Ontario driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
