Job summary

The Alberta-based remote role manages the full lifecycle, builds pipelines, and delivers high-quality candidate experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field is asset.
  • 3+ years progressive recruitment experience in healthcare, retail, hospitality, agency or multi-site high-volume environments.
  • Strong full-cycle recruitment, sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.

The Opportunity

As a Practice Recruitment Specialist, you will partner with an assigned portfolio of dental practices to attract, assess, and hire clinical talent across roles such as Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, and Practice Administrative professionals. Reporting to the Manager, Practice Recruitment, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle while delivering a consistent, high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience.

Through strong partnerships with Practice Managers, Regional Managers, and Operations leaders, you will build talent pipelines, lead sourcing strategies, share market insights, and help practices meet hiring goals while maintaining appropriate staffing levels.

This Alberta-based remote role follows company policy and is a 9-month contract starting in January 2027. The successful candidate will be eligible for a completion bonus.

You are a proactive, relationship-driven recruitment professional with strong judgment, ownership, and a candidate-first mindset. You know how to manage high-volume hiring, build trusted partnerships, and turn business priorities into practical recruitment strategies.

You are confident sourcing in competitive markets, engaging passive talent, and using systems, data, and market insights to guide decisions. You communicate clearly, manage competing priorities with urgency, and create a consistent, thoughtful experience for candidates and hiring managers.

In This Role, You Will
Practice Recruitment
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for an assigned portfolio of practices, hiring Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, and Practice Administrative professionals.
  • Build talent pipelines and execute recruitment strategies that support regional hiring priorities and operational needs.
Candidate Attraction & Sourcing
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, referrals, job boards, social media, networking, and direct sourcing to attract qualified talent.
  • Develop creative sourcing and recruitment marketing strategies for competitive markets and difficult-to-fill roles.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Partner with Practice Managers, Regional Managers, and Operations leaders to understand hiring needs, provide recommendations, and share market insights.
  • Maintain clear, regular communication on recruitment activity, candidate pipelines, and market conditions.
Recruitment Excellence
  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality recruitment process from sourcing through offer acceptance, onboarding, and pre-employment activities.
  • Maintain accurate activity in Workday, follow recruitment standards, and identify opportunities to improve process and candidate experience.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • 3+ years of progressive recruitment experience, ideally in healthcare, retail, hospitality, agency recruitment, or another multi-site, high-volume environment is required.
  • Strong full-cycle recruitment, sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills is required.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, use recruitment systems and data, and deliver exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences is required.
