Job summary

Kainaiwa Children's Services Corporation is actively seeking a Recruitment Officer to support recruitment efforts, onboarding, and staff development within our First Nations organization serving Blood Tribe communities.

You will coordinate postings, screening, interviews, and documentation, while collaborating with internal managers and external partners to attract and retain qualified staff.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic project coordination and planning skills.
• Knowledge of Blackfoot language and culture is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including posting, screening, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
• Ensure recruitment activities align with organizational policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal managers and external partners to support recruitment initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and employee documentation and files.
• Prepare employment contracts, extensions, and service agreements.
• Coordinate and deliver employee orientation processes and materials.
• Support staff development and training initiatives, including tracking and coordination.
• Maintain and update job descriptions and recruitment records.
• Monitor casual and term employment timelines and status.
• Prepare and submit regular recruitment and activity reports.
