Job summary

Bombardier is offering a 12-month internship in Talent Acquisition. The role combines recruitment activities with hands-on project work in a hybrid Canada-based environment.

The base pay ranges from CAD 17.95 to CAD 31.00 per hour, with travel occasionally outside Canada for training. Interns will participate in sourcing passive candidates, screening, interviews, and onboarding, while using SAP, SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter and other job boards.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university program studying Human Resources, Management, or Business.
• Bilingualism is preferred (English and French).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Must maintain confidentiality and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Open to students, not new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Needs Analysis: join discussions with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs.
• Resume screening: review resumes and shortlist qualified candidates.
• Phone screening: conduct phone interviews with internal and external applicants.
• Interview coordination: schedule interviews (in-person and virtual).
• Background checks: initiate backcheck paperwork for candidates.
• Onboarding follow-up: ensure new hire paperwork is completed.
• Use external sourcing sites (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter) to identify passive candidates.
