Job summary

Kal Tire in Vernon, BC is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for a 12-month full-time fixed term co-op. You will support the Talent Acquisition Team with administrative tasks, screening, scheduling, and data management, while engaging in career fairs and campus recruitment.

The role requires confidentiality, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required; travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in an administrative or support role.
• HR or recruitment experience with ATS/job boards is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide recruitment support across the full-cycle process.
• Coordinate with TA team to meet seasonal hiring demands.
• Source candidates using recruitment tools and digital platforms.
• Screen resumes, conduct background and reference checks.
• Schedule interviews and phone screens with candidates and managers.
• Participate in career fairs and campus recruitment events.
• Respond to online reviews and social media related to recruitment.
• Update and own TA team SharePoint.
• Assist HR Analyst with data collection and interpretation.
