Position Overview

We are currently hiring a Talent Acquisition Associate based in our Head Office in Burnaby, reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition. As a Talent Acquisition Associate, you'll play an important role in delivering an exceptional and seamless recruitment experience across BCAA.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities across the hiring process, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for candidates and hiring leaders.
• Create and post job advertisements, coordinate interviews, and maintain recruitment materials, templates and interview guides.
• Administer recruitment assessments, reference checks, offer letters, pre-employment activities and employee referral payments.
• Monitor the Talent Acquisition shared inbox and provide timely support to candidates, team members and hiring leaders.
• Maintain accurate candidate, requisition and recruitment data in Workday and other Talent Acquisition systems.
• Support employer branding, recruitment marketing, career fairs, hiring events and other Talent Acquisition initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain recruitment reporting and analytics, identifying trends, data issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Support Talent Acquisition projects, process improvements, technology implementations and new recruitment tools.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve recruitment processes, including leveraging AI and emerging technologies.
• Maintain Talent Acquisition documentation, resources and knowledge materials.
• Provide day-to-day operational and project support to the Talent Acquisition Specialists and Manager.

What You'll Bring

Post-secondary education in HR, business or a related field. 2+ years in Talent Acquisition, recruitment coordination or recruitment operations, preferably within an in-house Talent Acquisition environment. Experience supporting multiple recruitment processes simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Experience working with an applicant tracking system or HRIS; experience with Workday is an asset. Strong organizational and time-management skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to create professional candidate communications and recruitment content. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Copilot. Comfort working with recruitment data, preparing reports and identifying trends or data quality issues. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Workday Recruiting.
• Experience creating employer branding, recruitment marketing or social media content.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed or other recruitment platforms.
• Experience supporting recruitment projects, process improvements, automation or technology implementations.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $58,586.88 to $73,233.60 per year and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 9%. Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 on-site / 2 remote days). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
