Job summary

Harry Rosen Inc. is seeking an in-store Tailorshop Supervisor in Vancouver to lead a team of tailors and ensure on-time, high-quality alterations. The role focuses on luxury menswear tailoring, equipment use, and maintaining a top-tier customer experience.

You will coordinate tailoring operations, manage workloads, and drive shop efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment. A minimum of 2 years in leading tailors and a commitment to excellence are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years leading a team of tailors/alterationists with deadlines and quality and productivity goals.
• Knowledge of altering and tailoring luxury menswear garments including jackets, pants, and shirts.
• Experience using and maintaining industrial sewing machines and pressers (2–3+ years).

Responsibilities

• Tailor and alter garments to meet HR quality and timing standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and fully supplied working area; clean equipment after use.
• Promote positive working relationships and respect skill levels of team members.
• Schedule Tailoring Associates and maintain shop structure.
• Oversee tailoring shop operations and manage rush orders.
• Assess workload and shop capacity to ensure efficient performance.

What You'll Do:**1. Tailoring Ensure finished product reflects HR quality and timing standards Alter garments according to pin or chalk marks made by Fitter Performing special request services 2.
