Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Tactical Security Guard for a full-time position with a prestigious banking client in Downtown Toronto. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Tactical Security experience, including expertise in emergency response, de-escalation tactics, and strong communication skills. A background in customer service is preferred. The ability to effectively de-escalate situations while ensuring the safety of both the public and clients is essential.

Position Overview :

Wages : $18.00 / hr - $22.00 / hr

Must have the availability to work a combination of the following shifts :

Monday : 0830hrs to 1730hrs

Tuesday : 0830hrs to 1730hrs

Wednesday : 0830hrs to 1730hrs

Thursday : 0830hrs to 1830hrs

Friday : 0830hrs to 1830hrs

Saturday : 0830hrs to 1630hrs

Responsibilities :

• Perform access control duties in conjunction with site guards.
• Deterrent trespassers and vagrants from the site.
• Respond to reports of suspicious persons.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or appropriate personnel.
• Monitor CCTV footage for irregularities and perform dispatch duties, including emergency response.

Qualifications :

• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
• Thorough understanding of security protocols, including emergency response
• At least 2 years of Tactical Security experience
• Use Of Force Certification
• Intervention Training
• Opioids and Naloxone Training
• IMS 100 and 200 Emergency Management
• Diversity and Awareness Training
• Active Attacker Awareness Training
• Mental Health Awareness Training
