Job summary

GardaWorld in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a Skill Security Guard to patrol diverse environments, monitor access, and respond to incidents with swift, well-documented actions. The role emphasizes vigilance, teamwork, and effective communication within our security team.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Holds a valid security license.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.
