Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Tactical Security Guard in St. John's, Newfoundland, CA. The role emphasizes environment scanning, risk anticipation, and proactive response. You will patrol the Village Mall, verify access, monitor cameras, and document actions taken during incidents.

We offer a $17.50 hourly wage, GardaWorld Academy education funding, and flexible schedules. This is a full-time position with uniform provided. Monday to Friday shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• First aid certification required.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Good report-writing skills.
• Ability to handle tactical situations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions.
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Coordinate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Remove loiterers from the site.
• Perform foot patrol of the mall.
