Job summary

GardaWorld in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Tactical Office Building Security Guard to maintain a secure office environment with a focus on customer service and access control.

You will perform scheduled patrols, monitor entrances, assist tenants, and remove unauthorized individuals while providing a visible security presence during shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license.
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Temporary coverage availability.
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment.
• Use of Force Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, greet visitors, verify identities and guide visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas.
• Assist tenants with requested services.
• Manage access to restricted areas as required.
• Remove unauthorized individuals from premises.
• Monitor stairwells and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Inspect building entrances and parking areas exterior checks.
• Maintain a security desk presence during scheduled hours.
• Report incidents and tenant complaints to the client.

As an Tactical Office Building Security Guard, there is a high focus on Scheduled Patrols, removing unauthorised individuals, Client relationship and exceptional customer service, since you will be working with people all shift, in an Office environment.

Responsibilities for Tactical Office Building Security Guard
