We seek a qualified Systems Verification & Validation Engineer to design, conduct, and report on IVVQ activities with hybrid work in Mill Bay, BC. The role requires at least 3 years’ IV&V experience, strong requirements analysis, and familiarity with ships or shipyards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems, software, electrical, or computer engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with physical systems (mechanical, electrical, or pressurized fluid).
  • At least 3 years of IV&V or related experience.
  • Experience in marine or military systems; ships or shipbuilding.
  • Marine systems / system-of-systems engineering and integration experience.
  • Core network and applications experience.
  • Experience testing or verifying on ships.
  • Experience with IBM DOORS.
  • Ability to acquire Canadian Secret, Controlled Goods, ITAR, NATO Secret, and COMSEC clearances.

We are currently seeking a qualified Systems Verification & Validation Engineer to join our specialized team. This role is responsible for designing, conducting, and reporting on IVVQ (Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification) activities. While standardized test scripts will be provided, the successful candidate must have the technical expertise to amend, correct, or update these scripts as required to maintain system integrity.

  • Work with the Interview/Test Team to safely verify and validate the product.
  • Review requirements and contribute to traceability matrices.
