Job summary

FED Group is seeking a Systems & Network Administrator in Montreal to join a dedicated IT team. You will administer Windows Server, AD, GPO, and M365, manage VMware/Hyper-V environments, and oversee backup, storage, and disaster recovery.

The role requires independent work, analytical troubleshooting, and collaboration on modernization projects. You will contribute to security, performance, and documentation efforts across a multi-site IT environment, with opportunities to automate and optimize

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems administration and IT infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and Microsoft 365.
• Solid experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Good understanding of networking services and protocols, including DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.
• Experience with backup solutions, storage systems, and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Azure environments and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively within a team.
