• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to procure competitive quotes and manage vendor relationships.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the Descartes TMS Super User, managing rate governance, system configuration, reporting accuracy, freight invoice validation, system optimization, user support, and data integrity across the TMS and related systems. Conduct regular audits, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Analyze and report on transportation and logistics metrics, including cost, performance, and operational efficiencies. Provide insights to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Research and solicit quotes from freight carriers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure competitive pricing and optimal service levels for transportation needs.
• Assess and manage lane rate pricing across transportation routes. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to negotiate and lock in competitive rates while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Utilize the TSM to monitor, track, and optimize transportation processes. Recommend improvements based on system performance and operational needs.
• Work cross-functionally with logistics, finance, and supply chain teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role

We are seeking a Systems & Logistics Analyst to join our P&H Milling team. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing logistics processes, ensuring data integrity, and providing key analysis to support decision-making. What You’ll Bring

• Proficiency with Descartes TMS and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, etc.).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to procure competitive quotes and manage vendor relationships.
