Job summary

MacLean Engineering is forming a Systems Engineering team to unify electrical, mechanical, and software design into a high‑performance system for underground mining. You will contribute to the V‑model development, safety lifecycle, and rigorous validation across Sudbury and Collingwood facilities, shaping next‑gen mining technology.

The role emphasizes requirements definition, design integration, documentation, and cross‑domain collaboration, with opportunities to grow in new product development

Responsibilities

• Supporting all engineering teams responsible for 30+ MacLean vehicle types and subsystems.
• Establishing, evolving, and executing internal processes for the major steps of the Engineering V-model of design.
• Lead the development of risk assessments and safety concepts and safety critical designs.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, configurations, and processes for audit readiness.
• Oversee verification artifacts and validation tests to meet safety integrity requirements.
