Job summary

Randstad Canada seeks a senior Oracle E‑Business Suite Technical Analyst for an enterprise contract in Ontario. You will lead Oracle EBS configurations, custom extensions, and APEX/PL/SQL development in a hybrid setup with remote work and occasional onsite workshops.

You will translate business requirements into robust Oracle solutions, perform testing, and deliver operational support for financial applications.

Qualifications

• Education: Undergraduate degree (Master's preferred) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Oracle Tech Experience: Minimum 7 years of progressive development and technical analyst experience specializing in Oracle EBS and core Oracle technologies.
• Oracle Tech Stack: Deep hands-on experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Databases, PL/SQL, APEX, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher.
• OS & Scripting: Solid proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) OS and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Testing & Support: Experience with unit/integration testing, UAT, and operational support for financial apps.

Responsibilities

• Support existing Oracle EBS installations, extensions, and solutions built on Oracle technology.
• Elicit, analyze, and negotiate technical requirements with business leads and project teams.
• Plan configuration/development tasks with accurate estimates and strategies.
• Design, build, configure, and maintain Oracle apps, APEX apps, and backend objects.
• Develop and execute unit/integration/UAT scripts for readiness.
• Provide tiered operational support, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Write and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and triggers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads to ensure smooth updates and knowledge transfer.

We are seeking a highly accomplished Oracle e-Business Suite Technical Analyst for an enterprise-level contract opportunity. In this role, you will take on a key technical engineering capacity, specializing in providing technical development, application configuration, and operational support for Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) modules and custom solutions built on Oracle technology.

As a principal technical analyst, you will bridge the gap between functional financial requirements, technical system configurations, and operational support streams. Operating within a hybrid work model, you will lead custom APEX and PL/SQL application development, execute unit and user acceptance testing, author complex database scripts, and support enterprise Oracle implementations. This position is ideal for a quantitative technical authority who can translate stakeholder needs into robust Oracle solutions while guiding system configurations and maintenance.

Location: Guelph, ON / Remote (Hybrid within Ontario)
