Job summary

Osimaritime is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support end-users and ensure availability of networked resources. Provide hardware and application support, manage VPN, AD, storage and virtualization, and coordinate backups.

The role requires 2–5 years in IT systems and network support, strong problem-solving, and solid communication skills, with readiness for 24x7 on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• 2-year college or equivalent.
• 2–5 years in IT systems and network support.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with EPM (Beyond Trust).
• Knowledge of AD, Group Policy, Windows Server, Storage (SAN) and VMWare.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user hardware and application support.
• Handle remote access and VPN issues.
• Troubleshoot network appliance issues and printers.
• Identify and resolve network performance problems.
• Perform routine maintenance and system updates.
• Manage office network infrastructure tasks (cabling, moves).
• Respond to help desk tickets regarding connectivity.
• Maintain inventory of IT hardware worldwide.
• Monitor data center equipment for uptime.
• Assist in IT system management: VMWare, backups, AD, GPO, patching.
• Ensure backups and retention policies are followed.
• Maintain IT documentation and vendor/site records.
• Support file servers and data permissions.
• Liaise with vendors for support cases.
