Job description

Our client is seeking a Systems Administrator with proven technical, analytical, and business skills. The Systems Administrator will be the primary contact for major projects related to new hardware and software implementations focused on business unit integration and multi-site environments.

He/she will support and maintain enterprise networks, VPNs, VoIP, desktop computing, VMware virtualization, Microsoft 365, and cloud application services. He/she will maintain an on-premises HPE server farm, SAN, and Veritas NetBackup. The role requires answering a wide variety of questions across the enterprise, scheduling work, executing plans while following change management policies, and documenting configurations. Occasionally, the candidate will provide 3rd level technical support for infrastructure issues directly with police customers and IT staff.

• Proficiency with Cisco Networking, Palo Alto Firewall, Microsoft technologies (SharePoint, Teams, Server), PowerShell, VMware, vSphere, Fusion, Red Hat Linux, Fiber optics, and related technologies
