As a Welding Systems Technician at Fronius Canada, you will be at the forefront of welding technology, working with cutting-edge systems and contributing to the company's reputation for high quality products.
Responsible for supporting the sales process by assisting in the configuration of robotic/automated/manual welding systems, providing technical presentations, technical knowledge, and acting as the technical expert.
Provide unique and innovative solutions to suit customer requirements.
Help in the design of robotic welding cells in the manufacturing industry.
Assist with new installation and retrofit of welding systems for robotic/automated/ manual welding applications.
Provide phone, email support and training to end customers and partners in Ontario and across Canada as required.
Perform onsite repair of robotic and manual welding equipment in a demanding environment.
Lead training for new product launches for Fronius employees and customers as the Fronius system expert.
Document and report market trends, customer feedback and competition to Fronius International.
Participate in trade shows and provide technical support.
Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technician/Technology
Strong technical understanding of digitally controlled inverter based electronics
Experience with robotic interfaces is an asset
Experience with welding systems is an asset
Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work as part of a team or independently as required.
Ability to work on multiple projects
Strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Must be willing and authorized to travel throughout Canada, USA and Europe.
Must have a valid driver’s license
