Job summary

SYSTRA Canada is seeking a System Interface Engineer to coordinate internal interfaces across the ALTO rail project connecting Quebec City to Toronto. You will lead interface activities, maintain the Interface Register, and work with systems, design, and operational teams to ensure clear scope, dependencies, and deliverables.

The role demands strong bilingual communication in French and English and a track record in complex multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Professional engineering designation or eligibility.
• Additional training in systems engineering or interface management is a plus.
• Bilingual in French and English is required for client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal interface activities across the project.
• Own and maintain the Internal Interface Register with quality and traceability.
• Clarify scope, boundaries, dependencies, and required interface deliverables.
• Organize interface meetings/workshops and facilitate alignment.
• Ensure compliance with Interface Management procedures and deliverables.
• Support MBSE-related integration with system architecture and requirements.
