Job summary

SYSTRA Canada is a leading engineering and consulting firm working on the ALTO high-speed rail project connecting Quebec City to Toronto. We seek a senior systems engineer to lead core systems engineering activities and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, a PE or eligibility, and strong French/English communication. MBSE experience and knowledge of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 are assets. Hybrid work environment and diverse opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Professional engineering designation or eligibility.
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Familiarity with MBSE and ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering tasks within multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Coordinate inputs from SMEs and design teams for structured system documentation.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to capture system characteristics and align contributors.
• Support MBSE activities and maintain consistency across artefacts.
• Maintain SBS and FBS structures and ensure alignment with project docs.
• Manage changes affecting requirements and system artefacts.
