Job summary

SYSTRA Canada is leading an ambitious ALTO high-speed rail project connecting Quebec City to Toronto. The System Interface Engineer will coordinate internal interfaces and ensure their management is aligned with project milestones, goals, and MBSE practices.

The role requires strong bilingual communication in French and English, with extensive experience in systems engineering and interface coordination across complex multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Professional engineering designation or eligibility for registration.
• Additional training or certification in systems engineering, interface management, or project delivery would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination of internal interface activities across the project.
• Own and maintain the Internal Interface Register, ensuring quality, completeness, traceability, and reporting.
• Support the identification, assessment, and structuring of internal interfaces with systems, design, and operations teams.
• Facilitate collaboration and technical dialogue between interfacing parties and design teams.
• Ensure compliance with the Internal Interface Management Procedure and support the quality and timely progression of interface deliverables.
• Support the integration of interface information with system architecture, requirements management, change control, and MBSE-related activities.
