Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. in Montreal seeks an experienced Azure DevOps specialist to govern and optimize our DevOps platform across projects, pipelines, Boards, and environments.

You will align practices with Agile/DevOps frameworks and leverage AI capabilities to improve governance. The role requires deep knowledge of Azure DevOps Services, YAML pipelines, security and access management, dashboards with Power BI, and strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a bilingual Canadian

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in Azure DevOps administration, configuration, or governance.
• Experience implementing Agile, Lean, DevOps or SAFe in complex organizations.
• Mastery of Azure DevOps Services: Organizations, Projects, Boards, Work Items, Dashboards, Git Repos, YAML Pipelines, Test Plans, APIs.
• Knowledge of Power BI and integration with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, and Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
• Understanding Microsoft's AI capabilities including Copilot, Azure AI, and Power Platform AI Builder, plus responsible AI and data governance.
• Experience defining norms, standards, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and ability to explain complex topics to diverse stakeholders.
• Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification or equivalent.
• Agile certification (SAFe, Scrum or equivalent).
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP), AI-900 or equivalent.
• Asset certifications such as Azure AI Engineer Associate or Copilot related programs.
• Experience in public or parapublic sectors with Copilot or Dynamics 365 Project Operations is a plus.

Job description

Here’s a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you’ll be able to do:

• Analyze business needs and evolve the Azure DevOps platform according to organizational orientations;


• Design, configure and optimize the components of the platform, including projects, processes, Work Items, Backlogs, Boards, Git repositories, pipelines and environments;


• Define, maintain and evolve standards, governance rules, nomenclature, processes and best practices;


• Design and implement quality control, compliance, security and access management mechanisms;


• Develop, optimize, and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and integrations with Power BI and Dynamics 365 Project Operations;


• Accompany users, provide advisory support, provide training and ensure knowledge transfer;


• Document configurations, processes, business rules, limitations, and recommendations for improvement;


• Leverage the artificial intelligence capabilities of Azure DevOps, develop use cases, support teams in their adoption, and set up the associated governance mechanisms.

The profile you are looking for is as follows:

• Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Azure DevOps administration, configuration, or governance;


• Experience in implementing Agile, Lean, DevOps or SAFe practices as well as in complex organizational environments;


• Master Azure DevOps Services, including Organizations, Projects, Boards, Work Items, Dashboards, Git Repositories, YAML Pipelines, Test Plans, and Azure DevOps APIs;


• Know Power BI and integration mechanisms with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, and Dynamics 365 Project Operations;


• Understand Microsoft's artificial intelligence capabilities, including Copilot, Azure AI, and Power Platform AI Builder, as well as the principles of responsible AI and data governance;


• Demonstrate experience in defining norms, standards, governance frameworks, maturity analyses and continuous improvement;


• Demonstrate excellent communication, popularization and support skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders;


• Hold the Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification or equivalent certification;


• Hold an Agile certification (SAFe, Scrum or equivalent);


• Possess a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP), Microsoft AI-900 or equivalent certification;


• Have earned an Azure AI Engineer Associate, Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, Build an Agent in Microsoft Copilot Studio, Autonomous Agents, Power Platform AI Fundamentals, or Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect certification (an asset);


• Experience in the public or parapublic sector, with Microsoft Copilot or Dynamics 365 Project Operations (an asset).
