YMCA BC is seeking a Swim Instructor to provide safe and engaging swimming lessons at Chilliwack locations. You will create lesson plans, supervise participants, and uphold pool safety standards while building positive relationships with members and staff.
The role reports to the Aquatics Supervisor and requires First Aid, CPR-C and Swim Instructor certification. Part-time, permanent hours with shifts including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Location: Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre - 9145 Corbould St, Chilliwack, BC V2P 4A6 (Primary)
Cheam Leisure Centre - 45501 Market Way, Chilliwack, BC V2R (Secondary)
Terms: Part-Time, Permanent
Hours: 4-24 hours per week
Shift: Shifts vary but will include weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Instructor coverage needed on weekdays 4pm-8pm and Saturdays
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: $23.59-$26.08 per hour
