Job description

You are looking for an internship and have a genuine interest in sustainability and environmental impact assessment?

Sustainability Student/Internship
We're seeking an analytical and detail-oriented intern to support the work of our sustainability department during summer. This role involves close collaboration with internal actors and external sustainability consultants and offers hands-on experience in corporate sustainability and environmental impact assessment. You will work across multiple departments including peat extraction, mix preparation, transport and logistics, and procurement.

JOB SUMMARY:

1. Create Excel models to track and analyse environmental metrics;
2. Present findings to various stakeholders;
3. Recommend potential improvements to reduce environmental impact;
4. Any other related tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Studies, or related field. However, students studying other subjects who have a demonstrable interest in sustainability will also be considered;
2. Excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively in professional French and English (for regular collaboration with European consultants);
3. Advanced Excel skills, including experience with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling;
4. Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail;
5. Ability to work independently;
6. Genuine interest in sustainability and environmental impact assessment.

CONSIDERED ASSETS:

1. Previous coursework or experience in life cycle analysis;
2. Knowledge of environmental management systems;
3. Experience with data visualization tools;
4. Understanding of industrial processes and supply chain operations.
