PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) seeks a Sustainability Coordinator to lead planning, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability initiatives for the Pearson Accelerator Construction Team. PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) is a General Partnership of Alberici, Amico, Kenaidan, and Obayashi, supported by design partners Egis, Mott MacDonald, and Weston Williamson + Partners. Together, we are delivering Accelerator, a major program of Pearson LIFT (Long-term Investment in Facilities and Terminals), Toronto Pearson's infrastructure development plan. This multi-year program is designed to address immediate passenger growth demands while preparing Canada’s largest airport for the future of air travel—including critical upgrades to airfield and infrastructure, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, modernization of Terminals 1 and 3, and the creation of a world-class passenger experience.
The Sustainability Coordinator supports the planning, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability initiatives for the Pearson Accelerator Construction Team (PACT). This role ensures compliance with sustainability requirements, and advances GTAA’s sustainability goals. The Sustainability Coordinator will work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to integrate sustainability requirements within the entire construction value chain, from planning, procurement, construction and reporting. They will work cross-functionally with departments to ensure sustainability KPIs are being fulfilled. The role calls for understanding, assessing, monitoring and reporting sustainability metrics for assigned construction project.
The position will be based at our office in Mississauga, Ontario, with visits to the Airport site as required. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday during regular office or site hours. At times, operational needs may require work outside these hours, with reasonable notice provided. All schedule or on‑call adjustments will comply with applicable employment standards legislation. It is mandatory for all employees to complete a Criminal Background check and successfully attain a Restricted Access Identity Card (RAIC) upon joining the company.
