Job summary

Trillium Guideway Partners seeks a Surveyor to support the Ontario Line project. You will perform land, topographic, and construction surveys and provide accurate site data for engineers and construction teams.

Role involves fieldwork with Total Stations, GPS, and CAD/GIS tools, collaboration with architects and managers, and adherence to surveying standards in varied outdoor environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in land, construction, or geodetic surveying.
  • Proficiency with surveying instruments and software outlined in tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct land, boundary, and topographic surveys using Total Stations and GPS.
  • Perform construction layout surveys to position structures per plans.
  • Record and analyze survey measurements, elevations, and land contours.
  • Prepare survey reports, maps, and sketches for engineering and planning.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and project managers for accurate data.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international surveying standards.
  • Monitor ground movements, settlement, and deformation in projects.
  • Utilize GIS and CAD to process and visualize survey data.
  • Maintain instruments and calibration records for accuracy.
  • Identify discrepancies in site conditions versus design specs.
